Well, with hurricane and severe storms heading our way, its time to look back and see what we would have done differently to prepare for this spring and summer. There are a couple things for me... one is to put some gallon jugs of water away each shopping trip.. another is to have flood insurance activated.. For me, its not floods from rivers, it the crappy sotrm drainage system we have. One problem or blockage, coupled with a microburst of rain, and we could be lookign at 17 inches of water coming at the house... just like it did a few years ago. They call it the hundred year rain event!... I don;t care,,, that could be tomorrow... also have been looking for a generator I can run a couple of hours a day to keep the frig and freezer up and good... this on is a major price drop... check it out.. and free shipping.. heck I don;t even want to haul that 221lbs around if i can get it dropped off in front of my gargage... think about it...
